It’s official! Sorcery and Sandstorms, the sequel to Sorcery and Stardust, is now available for pre-order on both Amazon and Kobo stores, and will be officially released on June 22, 2020.
This story picks up where Sorcery and Stardust left off, and was an absolute delight to write. When I first started this series I had a concept and a couple of characters in mind and as I went along, breathing life into their worlds, they breathed life into mine, too. So it was that Flare, Arcana’s older brother and the cheekiest fire sorcerer I’ve ever known, took on a life of his own. I adored him throughout book one and when I came to start writing book two, he made it very clear to me that he had a bigger part to play – and so he does. Writing Flare has made me laugh and cry in a way I never expected, and he provides a wonderful counterpoint to the steadier voices of his sister, her space deer, and our favourite Guardian, who of course are never far from my thoughts. (Team Fenris, that’s me!)
To check out the book’s blurb and find the digital pre-order links, visit the Sorcery and Sandstorms page here. I cannot wait to share some little sneak peeks with you over the coming month, and am excited beyond belief about sharing the next installment in this adventure with everyone.
(And if you have no idea what I’m talking about, check out book one here)
For those of you interested in print copies, right now I’m up to my elbows in formatting and sorting all that stuff out, but yes! They will most certainly exist, as per usual. If you’re interested in a print copy, I’m currently taking expressions of interest – feel free to contact me directly and put your name down. Come release day, print editions will be available through me, and also through Amazon (though this tends to be a few days to a week behind the digital versions, as I cannot set up a print version as a pre-order). I’ll be sharing more info about the print copies on my social media as it becomes available. Until then, keep an eye out for countdown fun. 🙂
Happy Friday everyone! May all your ice cream be chocolate flavoured.
