Well, the cat is now out of the bag – I can officially announce that I’ll be having an author table at the 2020 Australian Romance Reader’s Association’s annual event, A Romantic Rendezvous.
For those not in the know, this is a yearly event in which authors from a variety of romance genres and sub-genres gather together for readers to meet, get their books signed, discover new books and authors and generally have a lovely time. It tours Australia wide and will be in Melbourne on the 14th of March, 2020.
I’m really looking forward to the opportunity to rub elbows with new people and, of course, hang out with those I already know! I’ve already started making lists of ideas and prepping what I’ll need to bring along.
ARRA is running a competition to win some tickets, which you can find here. Otherwise, tickets will be on sale in October for the event, with all relevant information to be found on the ARRA website.
If you’ve never been to something like this, I can say it’s a tonne of fun. Mum and I have been as readers in the past and it was a real blast. 2020 will be my first time attending as an author and I’m really pleased to have the opportunity to take part in such a fabulous event.
Maybe I’ll see you there?
